I founded Bikurim to serve as an apolitical initiative aimed to strengthen and solidify the Jewish people’s place within Judea and Samaria. As an entrepreneur myself living in the Binyamin region, I understand that the challenges of living and working in a “disputed” region can seem insurmountable. The empathy I have for those struggling is great but my own optimism for what they can achieve is much greater—if helped.
In 2009, increased calls for boycotting the Jewish-owned businesses were growing, this was my trigger to find proactive ways to not only counter these attacks but to strengthen the region so much that any future attacks would be irrelevant.
Working with over 3000 individual family-run business owners throughout the years, I found that my own capabilities were limited. Bikurim was created in order to attract those who share my own passion for Israel’s Heartland and want to share this great responsibility and opportunity to see this mission through. Without Israel’s Heartland for the Jewish people, our spiritual and physical existence is threatened.
